TFC Rwanda Youth Convention

TFC Rwanda organizes training, camps and conferences every year. During 2024, we were able to meet 53,000 teenagers every week through our evangelism and discipleship ministries. Over 3000 of them responded positively to the gospel.
In August 2024, we had a Youth Camp, where 180 teenagers from all over the country spent five days together. Daily activities included impactful topics regarding faith and the gospel, sports and games, dramas, and a boat cruise on Lake Kivu. The camp’s main objective was enhancing leadership skills. During this camp, seven teenagers gave their lives to Christ, and many committed to deeply invest in discipleship.
At the end of September 2024, we held our seventh Youth Convention, where over 10,000 teenagers from Kigali gathered. The event was marked by a ceremonial graduation of 43 teenagers who completed nine months of training at TFC Headquarters. We also celebrated the 10th anniversary of TFC Rwanda.
The theme of the convention was “The New Identity in Christ”, based on 2 Corinthians 5:17. Dr Nate Bramsen, Pastor Moses Odhiambo, and Dr David Smith were the guest speakers.
Heavy rain broke out in the middle of the event till late in the evening, and it was a huge task to organise the transportation process of teenagers coming and going, but all eventually returned home safely.
